is an author, educator, podcaster, and ordained Christian minister whose life’s work is rooted in resilience, faith, and service. Through teaching, ministry, and her podcast Light & Peace in the Storm, she empowers people to find clarity, healing, and hope—even in life’s hardest moments.

Cecilia Ngozi Ojingwa

Early Life & Education

Born in the eastern part of  Nigeria, Cecilia faced the loss of her mother at age six. Guided by faith and family, she excelled in school debates, drama, and leadership. She earned a B.Sc. in Biology and Education and an M.Ed. in Educational Psychology, presenting research at international conferences.

Career & Leadership

Cecilia has taught K–12 and college students in the U.S., integrating creativity and technology into her classrooms. She has served as a Public Health Educator with UNICEF, Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), Managing Director of a beauty company, Assistant Manager at Professional Theater Company, and President of Anambra State Cultural Organization, California. For many years, she served as Administrative Manager of Africa House Sacramento, a multicultural nonprofit promoting community collaboration.

Ministry & Podcast

An ordained Christian minister, Cecilia travels, teaches, and counsels communities and individuals with compassion and purpose. She hosts the podcast Light & Peace in the Storm, sharing stories of resilience, faith, and personal growth to inspire listeners navigating life’s challenges.

Personal Life

Cecilia resides in Northern California with her daughter, Erika. Following her husband’s passing, she continues to honor his memory through service, teaching, and ministry. Her work reflects a lifelong commitment to nurturing minds, spirits, and communities.
